Catching up..

Wow its been a long time since we've blogged. We need to start that up again... this past 6 months has been crazy! We got engaged in August and started grad school (Nicole) and law school (Thomas) in September. November 22 we got married in San Diego, and November 29 we had a reception in Provo, Utah. After our semester ended (on a good note for both of us!) we went to Ohio for Christmas with Nicole's family, and for a reception December 27. It was great catching up with old friends and we had a blast at our wedding and two receptions!

For pictures from the wedding day, follow this link (or look on facebook!):

click on the album title, "Wedding!"

We (Nicole) picked a few favorites to post- the photographersent us almost 600. We will post our reception pictures when we get those back from the photographer.

Now we are still in Cincinnati just relaxing for another week before school starts up again and crazyness ensues once more!

Updates

Things are going well with both of us. Nicole seems to be having success at EFY. I guess she really helped one of her kids with his testimony the other day. She's good at that empathy and love thing. There is only one week until we are both in Ohio and that should be fun. We plan on going to Cedar Point and King's Island, it should be a blast. That is about all that is new.

Summer fun

Well, Thomas got the OK from Dad so he called the temple and booked our date- November 22nd at 11am in San Diego! We are VERY excited!!!!!!! When the ring is done and I've received an official proposal, we'll post the story for your reading enjoment. Tonight we got some dinner at Stan's and brought it to the park with Heather (Thomas' sister) and Daniel (her fiance). It was really fun- the weather was perfect. Well I have to study for my finals and pack for EFY- we'll try to keep you posted throughout the summer!

Yellowstone!!!!

Well, we survived our trip into the great wilderness of Yellowstone National Park! Mister, Heather and I spent last weekend up there. We saw bears, elk, a billion bison, mule deer, eagles, bighorn sheep, misc. other small critters and a wooly mammoth named Thomas Weber. It was a blast! We (Heather) took a billion pictures, and you can view some highlights here. We went to church on Sunday, but I forgot to bring church clothes so I had to wear my black gouchos and a blue yellowstone t-shirt and flip flops... so when I saw almost 10 people there that I knew I was a little embarrassed to go say hello! But it was a great weekend, and we (at least I) can't WAIT to go back! Hope you enjoy our pictures; it would've been more fun to have you there in person but sharing our memories will have to do. For now... Flo and I are planning on planning a family trip up there sometime, since we are all $$$ magnets (even Thomas)!

A bragging moment!

I just wanted to take a moment to boost my self-confidence... I got a 100% on my Traumatic Brain Injury midterm today!!! An area of our field that is challenging, but also one of the most interesting (in my humble opinion). :) I got a 96% on my Computer-Assisted Language Assessment midterm last week... which isn't quite a 100 but its still an A! :) Grad school is definitely a lot more work, but getting good grades is still doable. At least so far...

Pictures!

Here are the anxiously awaited for pictures from our trip to the GC and Mesa. Here is one picture to pique your interest and anticipation! :)

An Earfull

Here's a photo of Nicole with her ear cookie for her project. We just got back from the Grand Canyon and Mesa,AZ last night so we will have some pictures to post from that. It was a lot of fun and I learned that my grandpa likes to watch Project Runway and cage fighting. My grandma said that he likes to watch it until twelve or one in the morning. A little crazy but funny. Anyways, this week will be busy, busy, busy for Nicole with a midterm on Wednesday but this weekend we are going to Yellowstone with Heather and Daniel. It should be a blast and we will post some photos for sure.
