Well, as most of you know, I am addicted to Zumba and go about 6 times a week. It is the best part of my day. Even better, I am finally getting in shape (aka becoming the biggest loser)! I am more than half way to my goal (which I want to reach in April) and I started the last week of August. So I'm doing pretty well! Here is my cute lil ticker:
As a reward, I just bought myself a better pair of shoes to wear for Zumba- some brand new Nike Shox Zipsisters (from the new sister line)! I found a great deal on them and am excited to use them. Anyways, enough about Zumba!
I finished my first internship and LOVED it! Now I am getting paid (YAY) to do speech therapy at the BYU preschool/kindergarten 3 days a week with Jen, my Zumba buddy and second half! I also work at a charter school one day a week, and do home visits for homeschool kids one day a week. Speech therapy is SO FUN, especially when you get paid for doing it. I love it and am enjoying learning a ton about how to be better!
I got my wisdom teeth out at Jean Brown Research, and got paid $275 to do it! I needed to have them removed- they were in and straight but the dentist said they are too hard to keep clean so to get them removed before they cause problems. So I did! I had to stay at the place over night, but they paid for my surgery and medicine, and took care of me for 24 hours post surgery. I had a nice nurse named Oscar that came in every once in awhile to change my gauze, and bring me food (if I wanted some, I could order off the menu)! Then he would come in and take the tray away when I was done eating. It was a private room and I just watched movies, read, did crossword puzzles all day! It was great :) I haven't had any complications and seem to be healed almost all the way. 2 days after surgery I was back to work full time, and 5 days after surgery I was back at Zumba. Can't live without it- or how great it makes me feel :)
